There are two faucets where you can get Testnet $ONE:
Make sure you add the Harmony ONE Testnet to your Metamask!
Go to https://testnet.gamblefinance.com/
You will be presented a screen like below:
Below is an explanation of the different bet options. You can also view a short explanation of these functions by hovering over (or clicking on mobile) the top buttons.
The below popup will result when you have successfully placed a bet (or multi-bet). This will not happen for Single Swap or Redeem.
Clicking the green button will popup a fee schedule: showing the current fees for performing swaps.
Neutral Fee: Charged when you attempt to buy into $GAMBLE, but are unsuccessful.
Buy Fee: Charged when you attempt to buy into $GAMBLE, and are successful.
Sell Fee: Charged when you redeem $GAMBLE.
Minimum Bet: The minimum bet required to place a bet.
In the case of multi-bets, these fees can be charged multiple times (compounded). For example, you might attempt to get $GAMBLE 5 times, and get it on the 3rd try: Resulting in 2 charges of the neutral fee and then the charge of the buy fee.
All fees compound on each other.
A single bet pays for one random number at the exact odds shown. This means you will only be charged the neutral fee or the buy fee.
If you plan on doing multiple bets: it is suggested you consolidate them with the Multi-Bet feature.
Multi-bet is the recommended form of betting to be used. This allows you to bet multiple times over in a single transaction: increasing your odds and saving time.
The user must loop the bet at least 2 times, up to 255. As well as bet more than the minimum bet.
Multi-bet will continue betting until you win, or the loop limit is reached, or the minimum bet is reached.
It is recommended to only use as many loops is reasonably necessary because a higher amount of loops will cause a higher gas fee. The cumulative odds are displayed to help with figuring out how many loops you would like to use.
Single Swap is a more experimental feature. It is not recommended to be used for large amounts. The swap displays a clear warning on this feature because it does not have the ability to revert in the rare event of a swap failure.
Single Swap will swap your bet to a random token if you lose the bet. Functions near identical to the Single Bet, otherwise.
The redeem function allows you to sell and redeem your $GAMBLE for $ONE. The estimate takes into account the sell fee for you.
