# What is $GAMBLE?

$GAMBLE is a backed and redeemable swap token for gamblefinance.com. $GAMBLE can most similarly be compared to a reflection token in the way that fees are rewarded to holders.

However, most crypto tokens are not inherintly backed or redeemable: so it is possible to lose a lot of money by just holding them. $GAMBLE? When you obtain $GAMBLE, you are only exposed to the upside, no downs.

As a result though, $GAMBLE can be a gamble to obtain. The only way to obtain $GAMBLE is through gamblefinance.com's swap, which has a certain % chance to turn your deposit into $GAMBLE. But if you dont get it, its ok :) You only lose out on the fee. This fee is what increases the backing value of $GAMBLE.

$GAMBLE should be viewed as a shorter term investment by investors, that allows GAMBLE Finance to work toward long term, sustainable financial services on the Harmony ONE Network.
